
Shetland Accordion and Fiddle Club
The Shetland Accordion and Fiddle Club runs from September until March each year.
The Shetland Accordion and Fiddle Club is organised by a volunteer committee and provides a club for individuals or groups with an interest in traditional Shetland and Scottish music.
Club nights feature local musicians who attend and wish to perform or have been specifically invited to play. Visiting musicians from out with Shetland are also invited by the Committee to attend the club and perform on specific billed Visiting Artiste nights. Artistes include Solo Fiddle and Accordion players, trios, groups as well as local and visiting clubs

Shetland Accordion and Fiddle Festival
Complementing the Shetland Accordion and Fiddle Club, the annual festival is the highlight of the year for many and is said to be the most prestigious event for traditional Accordion and Fiddle Music within Scotland.
Over 40 invited musicians, including full 6 piece Scottish Dance Bands, smaller groups, and solo musicians, as well as countless local musicians, bands and groups form the basis of the festival. The festival is also attended by various Scottish traditional dance groups, enthusiasts, and tourists from all over the country.
Locals and visitors purchases tickets to attend the various concerts, dances and events that are held throughout the isles over the festival weekend.
